Doran Product Reviews App & QA vs SalesPop: Order & Sales Popupfor Shopify (2026)
Doran Product Reviews App & QA and SalesPop: Order & Sales Popup both aim to improve conversion rates on Shopify stores through social proof, but they accomplish this through different mechanisms. Doran focuses on collecting and displaying product reviews and Q&A to build customer trust and address purchase hesitations. SalesPop, on the other hand, leverages urgency and FOMO (fear of missing out) by displaying real-time order notifications, visitor counts, and sales popups, as well as offering email and SMS popups to grow the email list and promote brand storytelling. SalesPop also provides more advanced marketing features like geo-location-based social proof and multi-language support. Doran is more focused on product-specific social proof, while SalesPop is broader in scope.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with showcasing the quality and reliability of their products through customer feedback, Doran Product Reviews App & QA appears to be the more straightforward and potentially effective choice. Its high rating suggests it excels at its core function. However, for merchants looking for a more comprehensive solution to boost sales by leveraging social proof, generating leads, and sharing their brand story, SalesPop: Order & Sales Popup offers a wider array of features, including SMS and email popups, multi-language support, and geo-location targeting. While its rating is slightly lower, the significantly higher number of reviews indicates a larger and potentially more actively engaged user base.
