Our Verdict
For merchants starting fresh with their Shopify store and aiming to build a strong base of organic reviews directly from their customers, Doran Product Reviews App & QA appears to be the more suitable choice, given its high rating and substantial user base. The 'QA' aspect also suggests it facilitates customer interaction beyond simple reviews.
However, if a merchant is migrating from another e-commerce platform, dropshipping, or already possesses a wealth of positive reviews on platforms like Amazon or AliExpress, WiseReviews ‑ Reviews Importer offers a significant time-saving advantage. Its ability to import reviews and automate syncing would be invaluable in quickly establishing social proof on the new Shopify store. The lower rating should be considered, but the targeted functionality may outweigh this for specific use cases.
