DPD Fulfilment UK vs Trexityfor Shopify (2026)
DPD Fulfilment UK and Trexity are both highly-rated (5/5) third-party logistics apps for Shopify merchants in 2026, but they cater to fundamentally different needs. DPD Fulfilment UK focuses on automated, potentially worldwide order fulfillment using DPD's extensive delivery network. Its strength lies in enabling merchants to offload their entire fulfillment process, including pick, pack, and despatch, aiming for next-day UK delivery with late cut-off times. Its target audience appears to be merchants seeking comprehensive, hands-off fulfillment solutions with a UK focus. Trexity, on the other hand, centers on affordable and reliable *local* delivery, allowing merchants to maintain control over the "last mile" and enhance customer relationships. Its strength is in providing a straightforward solution for merchants managing their own inventory but wanting to outsource the final delivery stage to local customers. The key differentiator is geographic scope and level of automation. DPD Fulfilment UK is built for merchants who want end-to-end fulfillment, likely involving storage of goods at the DPD fulfillment center and potentially worldwide delivery (although the description focuses on the UK). Trexity is specifically for local delivery, offering a tool for merchants who have their own storage and fulfillment processes but need a delivery network. While both aim to free up merchants' time, DPD does so by automating the entire fulfillment workflow, whereas Trexity focuses on just the last-mile delivery. The much higher review count for Trexity (20 vs. 1) suggests wider adoption or a more mature user base, despite both apps maintaining a perfect rating.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants in 2026, the choice between DPD Fulfilment UK and Trexity depends entirely on their business model and fulfillment needs. If you're a merchant looking to completely outsource your order fulfillment, including storage and delivery (potentially beyond the UK), DPD Fulfilment UK is the clear choice. Its automated features and integration with DPD's network offer a truly hands-off solution. However, if you're a local business that manages its own inventory and simply needs a reliable and affordable local delivery service, Trexity is the better option. It allows you to own the customer's doorstep and maintain a direct connection with your local clientele.
Given the significantly higher number of reviews for Trexity, and its focus on a more easily digestible function, last-mile delivery, it appears to be favored by a wider range of Shopify merchants. DPD Fulfilment UK will suit larger merchants looking to offload all fulfillment activities.
