DPO Dynamic Product Options vs FeeBee ‑ Fees and Depositsfor Shopify (2026)
Both DPO Dynamic Product Options and FeeBee ‑ Fees and Deposits are highly rated (5/5) apps in the Shopify Pricing category as of 2026. However, the large difference in the number of reviews (290 for DPO versus 14 for FeeBee) suggests a significant disparity in usage and potentially a longer market presence for DPO. While both aim to impact pricing, their core functionalities likely differ considerably. DPO, with its name referencing "Dynamic Product Options", likely focuses on providing customizable product options that affect the final price. In contrast, FeeBee ‑ Fees and Deposits suggests a focus on managing additional charges and partial payments. Merchants needing to add handling fees, setup charges, or collect deposits would find FeeBee more relevant. DPO likely serves merchants who need to offer extensive product customizations (size, color, materials) that influence the price, appealing to businesses selling personalized or configurable goods. Determining the primary need - customized options influencing price or management of fees and deposits - is key to choosing the right app. Ultimately, without more specific feature information, a direct comparison is limited. However, the context suggests that DPO is about dynamic product pricing based on customer choices, while FeeBee deals with additional charges and payments.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing robust product customization options that directly impact pricing (e.g., personalized clothing, configurable furniture), DPO Dynamic Product Options appears to be the more suitable choice. Its higher number of reviews suggests a larger user base and more established presence. However, merchants looking specifically for tools to manage fees (handling, setup) and deposits (partial payments) should opt for FeeBee ‑ Fees and Deposits, despite its lower review count, as its features are directly aligned with those needs.
Given the limited data, a deeper feature analysis would be ideal. But based on the names and metrics, it's clear they serve different, albeit related, functions within the pricing category. Selecting the app best aligned to the specific business need is crucial.
