DPO Dynamic Product Options vs Nibble – AI Negotiationfor Shopify (2026)
DPO Dynamic Product Options and Nibble – AI Negotiation both fall under the 'Pricing' category on the Shopify App Store, but they address drastically different needs. DPO likely focuses on allowing merchants to customize product offerings with varied options and pricing tiers, while Nibble centers around dynamic, personalized pricing through AI-powered negotiation. DPO seems geared toward enhancing the product page and providing more customer choice, whereas Nibble aims to convert potentially lost sales by offering deals that customers deem acceptable. Nibble's key strength lies in its AI chatbot, which facilitates personalized negotiation with customers. It targets merchants who want to increase conversions, especially for high-value items or in MAP-regulated industries, by using AI to identify price points customers are willing to accept. Conversely, DPO probably caters to stores that benefit from offering product customization, possibly with complex configurations or multiple variations. The user reviews suggest DPO has a more established user base, though this does not necessarily reflect feature set quality for new customers in 2026.

Our Verdict
Merchants needing to offer complex product variations and customize options will likely benefit most from DPO Dynamic Product Options. Its high rating and significant number of reviews suggest it’s a stable and well-regarded solution for this purpose. However, for stores looking to maximize conversions on high-value items or operate within price-sensitive industries, Nibble – AI Negotiation offers a compelling value proposition by leveraging AI to negotiate prices and recapture potentially lost sales. While it has fewer reviews, its focus on personalized pricing and unique triggers (dwell time, exit intent, page revisit) makes it a worthwhile consideration for targeted, strategic discounting. Ultimately, the best choice depends on the specific pricing and product strategy of the merchant.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and manage?
Without detailed implementation data, it's difficult to say definitively. DPO's broader adoption suggests a potentially simpler initial setup, while Nibble's AI and customizability might require more fine-tuning during the onboarding process.
Which app is better for increasing average order value (AOV)?
Nibble explicitly mentions increasing AOV by offering personalized pricing in exchange for larger baskets. While DPO *could* indirectly increase AOV by enabling more product customizations, Nibble's features are more directly targeted at this goal.
Which app is more suitable for stores with a large catalog of products?
DPO could be better suited if the variety comes from product options and configurations, and you want to make the product pages more appealing and feature rich. Nibble may be better if you want to segment your customers and engage in negotiation for a curated selection of high-value products, where the ROI justifies the implementation effort.
Does Nibble negotiate prices on all products, or can I choose which products it applies to?
The description highlights Nibble as highly customizable and targetable. This suggests that merchants can select which products are eligible for AI-powered negotiation, allowing for a more strategic approach to dynamic pricing.
Is DPO Dynamic Product Options just about price? Or does it handle other product customization?
The name suggests a focus on *dynamic* options, implying the app provides more than just basic product choices. While it likely impacts price, it could also handle other aspects of product personalization, like material, color, or size.
