DPO Dynamic Product Options vs Resell Pro ‑ collect bidsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, DPO Dynamic Product Options and Resell Pro ‑ collect bids cater to vastly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite both technically falling under the 'Pricing quotes' category. DPO Dynamic Product Options (DPO) focuses on providing merchants with granular control over product customization through varied options, evidenced by its impressive 5/5 rating based on 290 reviews, suggesting widespread satisfaction and functionality. Resell Pro, on the other hand, introduces a bidding system, allowing customers to propose their own prices and potentially acquire products at a discount. This positions Resell Pro as a tool for merchants aiming to drive sales through customer negotiation and perceived deal opportunities. The primary difference lies in their approaches to pricing and product presentation. DPO empowers merchants to fine-tune product offerings with diverse options, appealing to customers seeking personalized products. Resell Pro aims to attract bargain hunters and those who enjoy the competitive aspect of bidding. Given its current lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating, Resell Pro represents a riskier choice, though its innovative bidding platform may be attractive to certain niche markets. The lack of coding required lowers the barrier to entry for Resell Pro, while the robust feedback of DPO's reviews provides more confidence in its user experience and established performance.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing robust product customization and seeking a proven solution, DPO Dynamic Product Options is the clear choice. The significant number of positive reviews provides confidence in its functionality and reliability. Resell Pro ‑ collect bids presents a higher-risk, higher-reward scenario. It's suitable for merchants targeting price-sensitive customers and willing to experiment with a novel bidding system. However, given the absence of any user feedback, thorough testing and a clear understanding of its potential drawbacks are essential before widespread implementation.
Ultimately, the decision hinges on the merchant's priorities. If stability, proven performance, and extensive customization options are paramount, DPO is recommended. If the goal is to explore innovative sales strategies and attract bargain-hunting customers, Resell Pro might be worth considering, but with caution.
