DPromotion vs Rimix Product Badges & Labelsfor Shopify (2026)
DPromotion and Rimix Product Badges & Labels are both Shopify apps in the Promotions - Other category, but they present drastically different profiles in 2026. DPromotion, with a rating of 0/5 and no reviews, offers little to no information to potential users. Its value proposition and target audience are entirely unknown, making it a risky choice for merchants looking for immediate solutions. Rimix Product Badges & Labels, on the other hand, boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on 22 reviews and a clear description highlighting its lightweight, high-performance nature and ease of use. Rimix focuses on providing a simple yet effective badge solution, emphasizing advanced filters, flexible customization, and multilingual support. It is targeted at merchants seeking to enhance product visibility without unnecessary complexity, and its claim of full theme compatibility and fast support further adds to its appeal. The 'Build for Shopify' certification adds an extra layer of trust and reliability compared to DPromotion, which lacks any such indication or social proof. The inclusion of detailed features like unlimited badges, smart filters, variant-specific badges, and scheduling functionality paints a picture of a mature and well-supported product.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Rimix Product Badges & Labels is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants. Its strong rating, positive reviews, and clearly defined feature set offer a much safer and more reliable option. Merchants who prioritize ease of use, immediate results, and comprehensive support will find Rimix to be a valuable asset.
DPromotion, with its lack of reviews and information, represents a significant risk. It might potentially offer similar functionality at a lower cost (though this is purely speculative), but the lack of any social proof or feature details makes it difficult to recommend to any merchant without further investigation. Only merchants with very specific, untested requirements and a high tolerance for risk might consider experimenting with DPromotion, but even then, thorough testing and validation would be essential.
