Dr. Link Check vs Lably—Product Labels & Badgesfor Shopify (2026)
Dr. Link Check and Lably—Product Labels & Badges, while both categorized as 'Design elements' on Shopify, address fundamentally different aspects of store optimization. Dr. Link Check focuses on technical SEO and user experience by identifying and resolving broken links, thereby ensuring site navigability and preventing frustrated customers. Its strength lies in its automated link crawling, error reporting, and export capabilities for detailed analysis. Its target audience is merchants concerned about SEO health and maintaining a professional online presence by eliminating dead links. On the other hand, Lably centers on visual merchandising and marketing, enabling merchants to highlight products with attractive labels and badges to incentivize purchases. The key distinction lies in their core purpose: Dr. Link Check aims to improve the backend functionality and SEO performance by ensuring all links are functional, while Lably focuses on frontend aesthetics and conversion rate optimization by enhancing product presentation. Lably boasts a large library of pre-designed labels, customizable display conditions, and dynamic text personalization, appealing to merchants seeking to boost sales through visual cues and promotional campaigns. The stark contrast in review volume (2 vs. 399) also suggests a significantly larger user base and potentially more established presence for Lably, though the 5/5 rating for both could mean similar satisfaction levels amongst those who use them, albeit at dramatically different scales.
