Drip Apps: Build a Gang Sheet vs Magical Custom Fields & Uploadfor Shopify (2026)
Drip Apps: Build a Gang Sheet and Magical Custom Fields & Upload both cater to Shopify merchants in the custom products space, but they serve distinct needs. Drip Apps is laser-focused on direct-to-film (DTF) printing and sticker shops, providing tools to build and manage gang sheets (layouts of multiple designs for printing) and automatically generate sticker cut lines. It aims to streamline the design-to-print workflow for businesses involved in custom apparel and sticker production. Magical Custom Fields & Upload, on the other hand, offers a broader solution for collecting custom product options and files from customers. It is a more general-purpose app designed to enhance product personalization and gather additional order information. Magical Custom Fields & Upload allows for a wider range of customization via text boxes, checkboxes, and file uploads, catering to businesses that offer personalized products and need to gather specific customer requirements. The addition of upsell functionality and checkout custom fields for Shopify Plus merchants positions it as a more versatile solution for larger businesses looking to increase sales and collect detailed customer information. While both apps receive excellent ratings, Magical Custom Fields & Upload has a larger review base, suggesting broader adoption and perhaps a longer market presence or wider applicability.
