DRIP: Returns For Sale Widget vs ESP Shipping Protectionfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, DRIP: Returns For Sale Widget and ESP Shipping Protection offer distinct solutions within the returns and warranty category on Shopify. DRIP focuses on maximizing revenue from returned or less-than-perfect inventory by providing a customizable widget to sell these items directly on the product page. It caters to merchants who handle returns, refurbished goods, or items with damaged packaging, offering features like AI translation, daily price adjustments, and backend automation for inventory management after a sale. The high rating and existing reviews suggest a positive user experience and reliable functionality. ESP Shipping Protection, on the other hand, is an unproven solution. With no ratings or reviews, its intended functionality is unknown, but we can infer it relates to shipping protection. Given the available information, DRIP: Returns For Sale Widget appears to be targeted towards merchants with a higher volume of returns or items that cannot be sold as new, allowing them to recover revenue from these assets. The app is clearly focused on increasing revenue and providing a direct sales channel for previously difficult-to-sell inventory. ESP Shipping Protection's value proposition is unknown given the lack of data, which leaves it at a significant disadvantage compared to DRIP.

Our Verdict
For merchants actively looking to recoup losses from returned or slightly damaged goods, DRIP: Returns For Sale Widget is the clear choice. The positive rating, reviews, and feature set all point towards a well-developed and effective solution for managing and selling this type of inventory. It offers a direct-to-consumer approach that keeps the customer within the merchant's ecosystem.
Due to the complete lack of information, it is impossible to recommend ESP Shipping Protection. Merchants should proceed with extreme caution until more data (ratings, reviews, descriptions) become available. Its potential value, features, and target audience remain entirely speculative.
