Our Verdict
DRIP: Returns For Sale Widget is ideal for Shopify merchants who regularly deal with returned, damaged, or otherwise non-new inventory and want a quick, customizable solution to sell these items directly to customers. Its focus is on recovering value from what would otherwise be a loss. Logistified Inventory Forecast, on the other hand, is a better choice for merchants with more complex inventory management needs, those concerned about stockouts, and those who want to leverage AI to optimize their purchasing and inventory levels. While both are rated 5/5, the lower review count for Logistified may indicate it's a newer or more niche app, requiring deeper consideration of feature fit.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
DRIP claims a setup time of less than 1 minute, suggesting a simpler initial setup process compared to Logistified, which requires historical data for AI-powered forecasting.
Which app helps me sell more of my existing products?
Logistified helps you sell *more* existing products by preventing stockouts. DRIP helps you sell *different* products (returns, refurbished, etc.) you already have.
What if I don't have a lot of historical sales data?
Logistified relies on historical sales data for its AI-powered forecasting. If you lack sufficient data, its accuracy may be limited initially. DRIP is less dependent on historical data.
Does DRIP integrate with my existing inventory management system?
The description doesn't explicitly mention integration with external inventory systems. It states that the app connects directly to your product catalog and deletes items upon sale from both the frontend and backend.
Which app is better for multi-channel selling?
Neither app description explicitly highlights multi-channel selling capabilities. DRIP does offer multi-currency support, which could be useful for international sales. Logistified may support exportable data for POs (PDF/XLSX/CSV), which can be used to integrate with external systems, but this is speculative.
