Our Verdict
The choice between Dropshipman and Printify depends entirely on the merchant's business model. If the merchant aims to dropship a wide variety of existing products from various sources (like AliExpress or Alibaba) and values managed fulfillment with dedicated support, Dropshipman is the better choice. The added advantage of agents and 24/7 support helps in scaling operations.
On the other hand, if the merchant wants to sell custom-designed products with zero upfront inventory costs and streamlined printing and shipping processes, Printify is the clear winner. Printify’s strength lies in its accessibility and global network, making it perfect for creative entrepreneurs wanting to build a brand around unique, personalized products. While Printify has a higher rating and more reviews, remember that reviews don't always equate to better; they are different services entirely, each catering to different needs.
Common Questions
Which app is better for scaling a dropshipping business quickly?
Dropshipman's dedicated managers and 24/7 support suggest a focus on scalability through personalized assistance and faster issue resolution compared to Printify, although it depends on what you are scaling. If you scale by adding product lines, Dropshipman is better. If you scale by expanding the geographic reach of a single printed product, Printify may be better.
Which app is more suitable for beginners?
Printify likely offers a more beginner-friendly experience due to its focus on simple design uploads and automated printing/shipping. Dropshipman, while powerful, might require a steeper learning curve due to the broader product sourcing and fulfillment options.
Does Dropshipman handle product design?
No, Dropshipman does not inherently focus on product design. It excels at sourcing and fulfilling existing products from various suppliers, as opposed to enabling the creation of custom designs like Printify does.
What are the cost structures of Dropshipman and Printify?
The provided descriptions do not detail the pricing structures for either app. Merchants need to investigate each app's pricing page directly for updated information on fees and subscription levels.
Which app offers more control over branding and packaging?
Dropshipman explicitly mentions custom packaging and thank-you card services, offering merchants more control over branding. While Printify facilitates the creation of custom-designed products, the degree of branding control beyond the printed design is not explicitly stated, potentially placing it lower in branding flexibility.
