Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking to implement automated and strategic promotions like 'Buy X Get Y' and tiered discounts to boost AOV, DS Auto gift & discount seems promising. The 'Smart Engine' and progress bar features are particularly appealing. However, the extremely low number of reviews should be considered a risk. Rockit Discounts & Sales App is better suited for merchants who frequently run sales, require bulk discount management capabilities, and prioritize creating a sense of urgency to drive sales. Its high review count suggests a more established track record and a wider user base. If you need complex, automated promotions and aesthetics, DS Auto gift & discount *might* work, but the lack of social proof is concerning. Otherwise, Rockit Discounts is safer, better reviewed, and more feature-rich.
