DSers‑AliExpress Dropshipping vs Faire: Sell Wholesalefor Shopify (2026)
DSers‑AliExpress Dropshipping and Faire: Sell Wholesale serve distinct purposes within the Shopify ecosystem. DSers caters to merchants employing a dropshipping model, specifically sourcing products from AliExpress. Its strength lies in automating order processing, supplier management, and product sourcing directly from AliExpress. It's designed for individual sellers or small businesses aiming to quickly launch and scale an online store without managing inventory. Faire, on the other hand, targets established brands or manufacturers seeking to expand their reach by selling wholesale to independent retailers. The primary difference lies in their target market and operational models. DSers facilitates direct-to-consumer (DTC) dropshipping, while Faire connects brands with wholesale buyers. DSers is designed to find products to sell, while Faire is designed to sell existing products to wholesale buyers. DSers focuses on sourcing, automation, and order fulfillment in a dropshipping environment. Faire simplifies wholesale management and expands distribution channels for existing brands. They share the categories of finding products and sourcing options but approach these tasks in completely different ways.

Our Verdict
DSers is the clear choice for merchants pursuing a dropshipping business model, particularly those leveraging AliExpress. Its features are tailored for product discovery, order automation, and supplier management in a dropshipping context. Merchants who need to quickly populate their store with products and automate order fulfillment will benefit most from DSers.
Faire, however, is the superior option for established brands and manufacturers looking to expand their wholesale business. Its platform connects them with independent retailers worldwide, streamlining the process of selling wholesale and managing inventory. Businesses with existing products seeking wholesale distribution should select Faire.
Common Questions
Can I use both DSers and Faire for my Shopify store?
Yes, technically you can, but they serve entirely different purposes. DSers is for finding products to sell via dropshipping, while Faire is for selling your existing products wholesale. Using both simultaneously would only make sense if you both drop ship certain items and manufacture your own goods.
Is Faire a better option than DSers if I want to build a brand?
Faire is better for building a brand as it focuses on connecting you with retailers who will represent your brand. DSers facilitates dropshipping, often without brand control.
Does DSers help with branding?
DSers primarily focuses on sourcing and order fulfillment, and offers minimal support for building brand identity. Because it connects to dropshippers, there will be far less control over the branded packaging than is possible on Faire.
What happens if I can't find a supplier on DSers with a specific product I want to sell?
DSers pulls products from AliExpress, so if the product isn't available there, you won't find it through DSers. You'll need to explore other sourcing options.
What are the fees associated with using Faire?
Faire typically charges commission on orders placed through their marketplace. Review their pricing details for the most up-to-date information.
