Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Sami B2B Lock,Password Protect likely has a simpler setup process since it focuses on access restriction rather than complex order fulfillment. DSers may require more configuration due to supplier and product management aspects.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but their functions don't directly overlap. You could theoretically use DSers for dropshipping and Sami B2B Lock to restrict access to specific products or collections for certain customer groups. However, the overlap in value might be minimal.
Which app is better for increasing sales?
DSers is more directly related to increasing sales by optimizing product sourcing and order fulfillment, leading to faster delivery times and potentially happier customers. Sami B2B Lock focuses on segmenting customers and controlling access, which could indirectly influence sales by creating exclusive offerings for wholesale clients.
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
The best app depends on the business model. A new store focused on dropshipping should prioritize DSers. A new store with both retail and potential wholesale customers should consider Sami B2B Lock.
How do the ratings compare, and what does that tell us?
While DSers has a slightly higher rating of 5/5 compared to Sami B2B Lock's 4.9/5, the significantly larger number of reviews for DSers (5565 vs. 743) suggests wider adoption and a longer track record. The slightly lower rating might indicate a smaller, but highly satisfied, customer base for Sami B2B Lock, or that DSers serves a greater diversity of merchants, leading to more varied experiences.
