DSers‑AliExpress Dropshipping vs Spreadconnect: Print on Demandfor Shopify (2026)
DSers‑AliExpress Dropshipping and Spreadconnect: Print on Demand both fall under the Dropshipping category within the Shopify ecosystem, but cater to distinct needs. DSers is positioned as a comprehensive AliExpress dropshipping solution, emphasizing order automation, supplier optimization, and product sourcing directly from AliExpress. Its key strength lies in handling large order volumes efficiently and finding competitive suppliers. It targets merchants focused on scaling their AliExpress dropshipping businesses. Spreadconnect: Print on Demand, on the other hand, focuses on the Print on Demand (POD) niche. It lacks detailed features in the provided dataset, its lower rating, far fewer reviews, and name suggests that it offers print on demand services. This caters to merchants who want to offer custom-designed products without holding inventory. Therefore it's a limited solution that offers a small range of functionality. The main difference lies in product sourcing: DSers is an AliExpress dropshipping solution whereas Spreadconnect is a print on demand one.

Our Verdict
For merchants already invested in or planning to build a large-scale dropshipping business sourcing from AliExpress, DSers‑AliExpress Dropshipping is the clear choice. Its robust features for order management, supplier optimization, and automation are designed for scaling. However, If the merchant's intention is to create and sell custom designed products then a Print on Demand service such as Spreadconnect may be a better fit, but given it's lower ratings and reviews, it's worth thoroughly investigating what limitations come with it.
Common Questions
Which app is better for beginners?
While neither app explicitly states beginner-friendliness, DSers' comprehensive features might present a steeper learning curve for absolute beginners compared to the potentially simpler workflow of Spreadconnect's print-on-demand process, assuming it is designed in a straightforward manner.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, if a merchant intends to dropship from AliExpress using DSers while also offering custom print-on-demand products through Spreadconnect. However, this would require managing two separate workflows and potentially integrating product listings carefully.
Which app offers better profit margins?
Profit margins depend on various factors, including product selection, pricing strategy, and supplier costs. DSers helps optimize supplier selection for potentially better pricing, while Spreadconnect's profit margin depends on its printing costs and the merchant's markup on custom designs.
Does either app offer inventory management?
DSers provides features for automatically updating stock and prices, providing inventory information for products sourced from AliExpress. Print on demand doesn't require holding stock, so inventory management isn't a crucial concern.
Which app has better customer support?
The review counts and ratings suggest that users find DSers more robust. However, the quality of customer support has to be tested. As the dataset doesn't give insight into the quality of customer support, no claims can be made about that.
