Détaxer avec SolPay vs TryNow: Try Before You Buyfor Shopify (2026)
Détaxer avec SolPay and TryNow: Try Before You Buy cater to drastically different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite both falling under the 'Payment options - Other' category. Détaxer avec SolPay focuses on simplifying the tax refund process for French merchants selling to international customers. Its primary strength lies in automating the generation of tax refund forms (bordereaux) directly from Shopify sales data, eliminating manual data entry. The app requires merchants to contact SolPay to become a partner, suggesting a more managed service or a specific partnership agreement. TryNow, on the other hand, provides a 'Try Before You Buy' platform, aimed at increasing conversion rates and lifetime value by allowing customers to try products at home before committing to a purchase.

Our Verdict
The choice between Détaxer avec SolPay and TryNow depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. Détaxer avec SolPay is specifically designed for French merchants who need to handle VAT refunds for international customers. If a merchant is not based in France or doesn't offer tax refunds, this app is irrelevant. TryNow, however, has a broader appeal. Any brand looking to improve conversion rates and provide a better customer experience through a 'Try Before You Buy' program should consider TryNow. While Détaxer avec SolPay boasts a perfect rating, the significantly higher number of reviews for TryNow suggests a larger user base and more established product.
