Dynamic Pricing AI by Intelis vs Elevate A/B Testing Price Testfor Shopify (2026)
Dynamic Pricing AI by Intelis and Elevate A/B Testing Price Test both aim to help Shopify merchants optimize their pricing strategies, but they take vastly different approaches. Intelis focuses specifically on automated, AI-driven dynamic pricing based on competitor analysis, particularly on Google Shopping. It positions itself as a comprehensive pricing intelligence platform for high-SKU retailers, wholesalers, and scaling brands who need to proactively manage pricing against competitors. The app boasts a simplified interface to make pricing decisions easier. Elevate, on the other hand, offers a broader A/B testing platform where price testing is just one component. It allows testing of various elements like themes, content, and shipping rates alongside pricing, providing a holistic optimization approach. Elevate targets ecommerce teams who want a comprehensive A/B testing solution to improve overall store performance. While both apps aim to maximize profit, Intelis prioritizes external competitive intelligence and automation for pricing, whereas Elevate focuses on internal optimization through experimentation across various storefront elements. The difference lies in their scope; Intelis offers a specialized AI-powered competitive pricing solution, while Elevate delivers a general-purpose A/B testing tool with price testing capabilities. The review counts differ significantly, which could suggest wider usage or a longer market presence for Elevate.

Our Verdict
If you're a high-SKU retailer or wholesaler primarily concerned with dynamically adjusting your prices to beat competitors, especially on Google Shopping, Dynamic Pricing AI by Intelis is likely the better choice. Its AI-driven approach and focus on competitive intelligence offer a specialized solution for price optimization.
However, if you're looking for a more general-purpose A/B testing platform to optimize various aspects of your online store, including but not limited to pricing, Elevate A/B Testing Price Test is a more suitable option. Its broader scope allows you to experiment with different elements of your store and identify areas for improvement beyond just pricing. The significantly higher review count of Elevate also suggests wider adoption and potentially more comprehensive support resources.
Common Questions
What kind of pricing strategy is best suited for each app?
Dynamic Pricing AI is suited for a dynamic, competitor-based pricing strategy, while Elevate is suited for a more experimental, data-driven A/B testing approach to pricing.
Is it possible to use both Dynamic Pricing AI and Elevate A/B Testing simultaneously?
While technically possible, it's generally not recommended. Dynamic Pricing AI makes automatic adjustments, whereas Elevate A/B Testing requires controlled experimentation. Running both could lead to conflicting changes and inaccurate A/B test results.
Which app is easier to set up and use for a beginner?
Both apps claim ease of use, but Dynamic Pricing AI's focus on a simplified interface specifically for pricing decisions might make it slightly easier for a beginner to focus solely on pricing strategy. Elevate A/B Testing offers a broader scope which means it would take longer to familiarise oneself to the different functionalities.
Does Elevate A/B Testing Price Test have a feature to automatically adjust prices?
No, Elevate A/B Testing Price Test is designed for A/B testing and experimentation. You would need to manually implement the price changes based on the results of your tests. It doesn't have AI for automation as with Dynamic Pricing AI
Which app is better for a small business with limited resources?
Elevate A/B Testing might be better for small businesses with limited resources as its A/B testing feature doesn't rely on competitor price data which can cost more resources to obtain. It also offers a broader scope and allows testing of themes, content and pages as well.
