Our Verdict
For small to mid-sized companies needing a comprehensive business management solution integrating financial, inventory, and customer data across multiple Shopify stores and locations, Dynamics 365 Business Central might be the preferred choice, despite its lower rating. However, its complexity should be considered.
Mipler — Advanced Reports is the better option for merchants primarily focused on gaining in-depth insights into their Shopify store's performance. Its high rating, numerous positive reviews, user-friendly interface, and AI-powered assistance make it ideal for creating custom reports and dashboards, particularly for businesses that rely heavily on data analysis and visualization to make informed decisions.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Mipler is likely easier to set up and use, especially for merchants primarily focused on reporting. Dynamics 365 Business Central, being a comprehensive business management solution, likely involves a more complex setup process.
Which app is better for managing inventory?
Dynamics 365 Business Central is the better choice for comprehensive inventory management across multiple locations and warehouses. Mipler provides inventory reports but doesn't offer the same level of control and automation.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, yes. You could use Dynamics 365 Business Central for core business operations and financial management, and then use Mipler to generate advanced reports from the data within your Shopify store. However, ensure data consistency and avoid redundancy.
Which app has better customer support?
Mipler explicitly mentions 'Real-time support: Let us create your custom reports for you,' suggesting a strong focus on customer support. Dynamics 365 Business Central doesn't explicitly mention support features, but as part of the Microsoft ecosystem, it will have support available, potentially with a learning curve and self service guides.
Which app is better for a single, small Shopify store?
Mipler — Advanced Reports is likely the better choice for a single, small Shopify store needing better insights into their sales and customer behavior. Dynamics 365 Business Central might be overkill for such a small business.
