Dytify Back in stock &Wishlist vs Hide Sold Out by Stock‑y‑phifor Shopify (2026)
Dytify Back in stock &Wishlist and Hide Sold Out by Stock‑y‑phi are both Shopify apps addressing stock management, but with different focuses. Dytify centers around customer retention by enabling restock notifications and wishlists for out-of-stock items. It aims to recapture demand by informing interested customers the moment a product is available again. Hide Sold Out by Stock‑y‑phi, on the other hand, automates the process of hiding out-of-stock products to improve the customer browsing experience and prevent frustration. Stockyphi offers a more proactive approach to stock management by automatically hiding and republishing products based on availability, and streamlining inventory management across multiple locations. Dytify focuses on reactive engagement, notifying customers about restocks. Stockyphi provides advanced features such as redirection rules and support for multi-location inventories that go beyond simple stock alerts. Dytify offers brand customization of restock alert emails, and includes wishlist functionality, something lacking in Stockyphi.

Our Verdict
Hide Sold Out by Stock‑y‑phi is the more established and favorably reviewed app, with robust features for automating inventory display and providing a cleaner browsing experience. Its automation capabilities and multi-location support make it well-suited for larger businesses with complex inventory needs. The higher rating and review count inspires greater confidence.
Dytify Back in stock &Wishlist might appeal to smaller shops or those specifically targeting customer engagement with restock notifications and wishlists. However, the lack of reviews presents a significant risk. It's hard to justify choosing it over Stockyphi without some user feedback. Until Dytify gathers some reviews and demonstrates its functionality, Stockyphi is the safer bet, particularly for stores needing to manage inventory across multiple locations.
