Our Verdict
Singleton | Verify Customers is the stronger choice for merchants who require strict customer validation and access control, particularly those operating wholesale or membership-based businesses. Its high rating and numerous positive reviews provide confidence in its functionality and reliability. The ability to hide prices and 'Add to cart' buttons from unapproved users offers a valuable layer of security and exclusivity.
E Customer Registration Fields might be suitable for merchants primarily focused on gathering detailed customer data during signup for marketing and segmentation purposes. However, its extremely low rating and limited number of reviews raise concerns about its usability and effectiveness. Merchants considering E Customer Registration Fields should proceed with caution and thoroughly investigate recent user feedback before committing.
Common Questions
Which app is better for creating complex registration forms?
Both apps offer custom registration fields. E Customer Registration Fields highlights conditional logic. Singleton | Verify Customers doesn't explicitly mention this, but also supports unlimited custom fields, making it potentially just as robust, particularly given its far superior rating.
Which app is better for B2B businesses?
Singleton | Verify Customers is clearly superior for B2B. Its customer verification and access control features are essential for managing wholesale accounts and ensuring pricing confidentiality.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
While both apps claim easy setup, Singleton | Verify Customers' higher rating and positive reviews suggest a more user-friendly experience. The lack of positive sentiment and low rating of E Customer Registration Fields indicates it might have usability issues.
Which app is more likely to improve customer data for targeted advertising?
E Customer Registration Fields is designed to collect more information upon registration, meaning it should gather better data for targeted advertising. However, if the app doesn't function well (as its rating suggests), any gains in data collection are negated.
Does either app offer integration with email marketing platforms?
The provided descriptions don't explicitly mention integrations with email marketing platforms for either app. Further research would be needed to determine if such integrations exist.
