Our Verdict
Given the significantly higher review count and the lack of positive feedback, Rocket Page Speed Optimizer is difficult to recommend at this time. The 0/5 rating despite a relatively large number of reviews raises serious concerns about its effectiveness and potential impact on store performance. Unless the issues reflected in the reviews are addressed, merchants should approach with extreme caution.
EA• Image & Page Speed Booster, while having fewer reviews, boasts a perfect rating. Its focus on preloading makes it a potentially good choice for merchants who want to improve the browsing experience for returning customers, especially on mobile devices. If image speed is a priority, the unlimited compression feature is a significant advantage. However, merchants focused on improving their initial load times and SEO through core web vitals should explore alternatives to Rocket Page Speed Optimizer, perhaps looking at apps focused on Javascript deferral that have more positive reviews.
