Common Questions
Does EAS EU & UK Compliance offer reporting beyond VAT and IOSS?
No, EAS primarily focuses on reporting related to VAT, IOSS, GPSR and EUDR compliance for EU and UK sales. It's not a general-purpose reporting tool.
Can Report Pundit handle EU VAT reporting?
Report Pundit can generate tax reports, which *could* be used to assist with EU VAT reporting, but it does not automate the process or provide the specialized knowledge that EAS offers. It requires manual configuration and interpretation of the data.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
EAS is likely easier to set up initially because they configure your store as part of their service. Report Pundit requires more configuration, especially for custom reports. Ongoing use depends on the complexity of your reporting needs with Report Pundit. EAS automates ongoing compliance tasks.
Which app is suitable for a small business just starting to sell in Europe?
EAS EU & UK Compliance is highly recommended for small businesses entering the European market due to the complexity of VAT, IOSS and GPSR compliance. It can save time and prevent costly errors. Report Pundit is less critical at this stage, although still valuable.
Can Report Pundit help me consolidate sales data across multiple Shopify stores in different currencies?
Yes, Report Pundit offers multi-store and multi-currency reporting, allowing you to consolidate data from multiple Shopify stores and currencies into a single report.
