Our Verdict
For merchants selling products that customers want to personalize (e.g., engraved jewelry, custom-printed apparel), Easify Custom Product Options is the clear choice. Its rich feature set allows for deep customization and can significantly increase average order value through add-ons and personalized options. The app's focus is to enable product creation that meets unique consumer needs.
However, if you sell items where fit and sizing are crucial (clothing, shoes, accessories), Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is indispensable. Its ability to create visually appealing and informative size charts, optimized for mobile and supporting multiple languages, directly addresses customer concerns about sizing, leading to fewer returns and increased customer confidence. A slightly lower review count but a perfect rating suggests high user satisfaction within its niche.
Common Questions
Which app is better for selling custom-printed t-shirts?
Easify Custom Product Options would be better for custom-printed t-shirts because it handles file uploads and text fields which will allow customers to design their shirts directly on the product page.
If I sell clothing, do I need both apps?
Potentially. Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is almost essential. Easify could be valuable if you also offer customization options like monograms or embroidery, allowing customers to personalize their clothing.
Is Easify suitable for simple product variations like color and size?
While Easify can handle simple variations, it's designed for more complex customization. Shopify's native variant system or a dedicated variants app might be more efficient for basic color/size options alone. Easify shines when you add personalized elements on top of those variations.
Does Smart Size Chart & Size Guide allow customers to input their measurements to find their size?
The description doesn't explicitly state this functionality. It focuses on displaying predefined size charts. You would need to investigate further to confirm if this feature is present. Many size chart apps have this option.
Which app has better customer support?
The provided data doesn't offer any insight into the quality of customer support for either app. You would need to research user reviews or contact the developers directly to assess their support capabilities.
