Easify Product Attachments vs ET Product Tabs & Descriptionsfor Shopify (2026)
Easify Product Attachments and ET Product Tabs & Descriptions both aim to enhance the product page experience on Shopify. However, they tackle this problem from different angles. Easify Product Attachments focuses on providing customers with easily accessible downloadable resources, such as manuals, licenses, and warranties, in various file formats directly on the product page. It emphasizes providing essential information that might otherwise be missed within the product description itself. The app positions itself as a solution to improve sales and reduce customer complaints related to missing product details. Conversely, ET Product Tabs & Descriptions centers around improving the organization and presentation of existing product information by structuring it into tabs or sections. Our Verdict
For merchants who need to provide downloadable resources like manuals, licenses, or warranty information, Easify Product Attachments is the clear choice. Its focus on directly delivering these resources, coupled with its high rating and significantly larger number of reviews, indicates a strong track record. In contrast, ET Product Tabs & Descriptions is better suited for merchants who have extensive product descriptions that need to be organized into a more user-friendly format. While also well-rated, its smaller review count suggests it caters to a more niche audience. Ultimately, the choice depends on whether the priority is delivering downloadable resources or improving the presentation of existing textual content.
Common Questions
What if I want to both organize product descriptions into tabs AND provide downloadable attachments?
You would need to use both apps. ET Product Tabs & Descriptions will structure the text based description, while Easify Product Attachments adds the files. Consider that you would be paying for two apps at that point.
Is one of the apps easier to use for a beginner?
Both apps advertise ease of use. Given ET Product Tabs & Description explicitly claims 'No coding knowledge required; Enable the app with a few clicks', this application may be slightly easier for a complete beginner to configure.
Which app is better for SEO?
Both apps can potentially improve SEO, but in different ways. Easify Product Attachments allows you to add value in the form of supporting documents that add clarity to the product. ET Product Tabs & Descriptions improves user experience, which can indirectly benefit SEO.
How does the number of reviews affect my decision?
A larger number of reviews, like Easify Product Attachments' 104 reviews compared to ET Product Tabs & Descriptions' 9, typically indicates greater experience and a wider range of use cases. It can also be a sign of greater market trust.
What are the potential limitations of each app?
Easify Product Attachments might not be necessary for products with simple descriptions that do not require additional documentation. ET Product Tabs & Descriptions may not be useful if your product descriptions are already concise and well-organized. You also have to consider that the design customization options with both apps may be limited. This means you may not be able to fully match the design aesthetic of your existing store.
