Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing comprehensive product information and aiming to reduce customer support inquiries about missing manuals, licenses, or warranties, Easify Product Attachments is the clear choice. Its ease of adding downloadable files and creating visually appealing attachment blocks offers a direct solution. However, Extendons Quantity Selector is the better option for merchants focused on optimizing the order process, managing inventory, and potentially increasing average order values through strategic quantity selection controls. Businesses selling products with specific quantity requirements, bulk discounts, or limited inventory will find it more useful.
While both apps have a 5/5 rating, Easify Product Attachments has significantly more reviews, suggesting broader adoption and a more established track record. Therefore, if a merchant is unsure and their needs don't strongly favor one over the other, the greater social proof of Easify Product Attachments might be a deciding factor.
Common Questions
Can I use both Easify Product Attachments and Extendons Quantity Selector?
Yes, both apps address different aspects of the product display. They can be used together to provide comprehensive product information and a seamless ordering experience.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Easify Product Attachments is likely easier to set up initially, as it primarily involves uploading and assigning files. Extendons Quantity Selector may require more configuration to define min/max values, step increments, and customize the user interface.
Does Extendons Quantity Selector allow customers to enter a quantity directly, or are they limited to the plus/minus buttons?
Based on the description, the app *replaces* the basic field with buttons, implying they are limited to the plus/minus buttons. This may not suit all stores.
If I only need to provide a single warranty PDF for my products, is Easify Product Attachments still a good solution?
Yes, Easify Product Attachments is still suitable for providing a single warranty PDF. Its key benefit is making the file readily accessible to customers on the product page rather than hidden in the description. The 'no limits' feature means you can upload just one PDF if that's all you need.
How can Extendons Quantity Selector help with flash sales or limited edition products?
Extendons Quantity Selector helps with limited edition products or flash sales by allowing you to set a maximum quantity per customer. This prevents a single buyer from monopolizing the inventory and ensures more customers have the opportunity to purchase.
