Easy Publisher by DevCloud vs ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reelsfor Shopify (2026)
Easy Publisher by DevCloud and ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reels, while both aiming to enhance social presence for Shopify merchants, target distinct marketing strategies. Easy Publisher focuses on automating product postings to major social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, providing scheduled campaign functionality and customizable post text. This positions it as a solution for merchants seeking to broadly distribute product information and maintain a consistent social media presence across multiple channels. In contrast, ReelUp emphasizes leveraging user-generated content (UGC) and shoppable videos, particularly from TikTok and Instagram, to create engaging on-site experiences. ReelUp aims to boost conversions by embedding these videos within the store, offering features like autoplay carousels, below-the-add-to-cart video placement, and Instagram-style stories. A key differentiating factor is ReelUp's focus on on-site engagement and conversion through video content, while Easy Publisher prioritizes off-site promotion through automated social media posts. Easy Publisher will likely appeal to merchants who already have an existing social media marketing plan across multiple platforms, while ReelUp may be better suited for stores that are looking to capitalize on video marketing trends and UGC to improve the on-site shopping experience and potentially SEO.

Our Verdict
For merchants aiming to broadly automate and schedule product posts across multiple social media platforms, Easy Publisher is the more suitable choice. Its scheduling capabilities and customizable post text features offer control over social media content. However, given the extremely limited number of reviews (6), the reliability of the rating should be viewed with caution. On the other hand, for stores prioritizing on-site engagement and conversions through video content, particularly UGC from TikTok and Instagram, ReelUp provides a more targeted solution. The higher number of reviews (228) lends more credibility to its positive rating. If your strategy involves focusing on in-store experience via video, ReelUp is the better option. For a new store with very limited time, Easy Publisher may prove easier to use to set up basic social media campaigns. However, the risk lies in the app's validation.
