Easy Reports by DevCloud vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
Easy Reports by DevCloud and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator are both Shopify apps leveraging AI, but they cater to very different needs. Easy Reports focuses on providing merchants with customizable reporting capabilities across orders, products, customers, and inventory. Its strength lies in simplifying data analysis through AI-assisted report generation and organization. In contrast, SupaEasy addresses the upcoming deprecation of Shopify Scripts by enabling merchants to create and migrate custom functions for discounts, shipping, payment, and validation. SupaEasy empowers merchants to gain finer control over their checkout processes without requiring extensive coding expertise, particularly attractive in the wake of script deprecation. The target audience also distinguishes the two. Easy Reports is designed for any Shopify merchant needing better insights into their business performance through data analysis and reporting. SupaEasy is aimed more at Shopify Plus merchants currently using Script Editor or any merchant seeking advanced checkout customization features, especially considering the transition away from scripts. Both apps leverage AI to simplify complex tasks, making them more accessible to a wider range of users, but their core functionalities and ultimate objectives differ significantly. SupaEasy also seems to position itself as especially valuable to shopify plus merchants, or merchants already using scripts, while Easy Reports is targeting any Shopify merchant looking for advanced reporting features.

Its AI-assisted report generation, scheduling features, and export options provide a comprehensive reporting solution.
However, for merchants using Shopify Plus and concerned about the upcoming deprecation of Shopify Scripts or generally seeking to customize checkout workflows related to discounts, shipping, payment, and validation, SupaEasy is the superior option. Its AI-powered function generation, script migration capabilities, and Shopify Editions recognition signal its focus on providing advanced checkout customization.
