Easy Short Link vs FavSEO ‑ SEO & Page Speedfor Shopify (2026)
Easy Short Link and FavSEO ‑ SEO & Page Speed both aim to improve Shopify stores, but target vastly different aspects of the business. Easy Short Link focuses on attribution and tracking the effectiveness of individual marketing links, promising insight into revenue generated from channels like social media and influencer marketing. It offers tools to create smart short links and track revenue, orders, and conversion rates per link. FavSEO, on the other hand, is an SEO and page speed optimization tool. It empowers merchants to edit title tags and meta descriptions, perform SEO audits, and submit sitemaps to Google. It also helps identify keyword opportunities and track keyword rankings. While both apps fall under the broader "Site optimization - Other" category on Shopify, their approaches are fundamentally distinct. Easy Short Link is geared towards marketers seeking to understand the ROI of their campaigns, whereas FavSEO targets store owners aiming to improve organic search visibility and overall site performance. The significantly higher number of reviews for FavSEO suggests it's a more established and widely used app, potentially indicating greater trust and a longer track record within the Shopify ecosystem. Both apps claim 5-star ratings, but the sample size is crucial to consider when making a judgment.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Easy Short Link and FavSEO depends heavily on the merchant's priorities. If the main goal is to understand the performance of marketing links, particularly from social media and influencer campaigns, Easy Short Link is the better choice. It provides the necessary tracking and attribution tools to make data-driven decisions about marketing spend. However, merchants looking to improve their store's overall organic search visibility and page speed should opt for FavSEO. It offers comprehensive SEO tools to optimize on-page elements, identify keyword opportunities, and monitor performance.
Given the significantly higher number of reviews, FavSEO appears to be a more established and widely used app, giving some reassurance around its stability and functionality. While Easy Short Link may be a good option for specific marketing attribution needs, the lower number of reviews introduces some risk, which should be carefully considered by merchants who prefer proven solutions.
