Easy Upsell vs Squid: Reviews, Upsells & 25+for Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants seeking upsell and bundle solutions have a choice between Easy Upsell and Squid: Reviews, Upsells & 25+. Easy Upsell currently lacks any user reviews or ratings, presenting a significant risk for merchants. Squid, on the other hand, boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on 11 reviews and positions itself as a comprehensive solution for increasing Average Order Value (AOV) through various upsell and cross-sell strategies, combined with trust-building features. Squid targets merchants looking for a multifaceted approach to optimize their store, build trust, and drive sales through AI-powered recommendations and a suite of over 25 features. The core difference lies in the depth and breadth of features offered, and the social proof. Easy Upsell, with no reviews or listed features, provides little insight into its capabilities. Squid offers a diverse range of tools including customer reviews, customizable upsells, volume discounts, one-click upsells, post-purchase upsells, email popups, surveys, trust badges, and storewide discounts. Squid’s comprehensive approach appears better suited for merchants prioritizing a robust suite of features aimed at optimizing the entire customer journey and building social proof to increase conversions.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Squid: Reviews, Upsells & 25+ appears to be the more compelling choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its positive reviews, comprehensive feature set, and focus on both AOV optimization and trust-building provide a strong value proposition. It is well-suited for merchants looking to implement a robust strategy for increasing sales and improving customer experience.
Easy Upsell, with its lack of reviews and feature details, is a significant risk for merchants. Unless Easy Upsell undergoes a dramatic overhaul and gains substantial positive feedback, it is difficult to recommend it over Squid. It might appeal to the extremely budget-conscious merchant willing to take a risk, hoping that the app is simple and easy to use, but without more information, this is speculative at best.
