Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B vs Faire: Buy Wholesalefor Shopify (2026)
Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B and Faire: Buy Wholesale, while sharing the 'Sourcing options' and 'Wholesale' categories on Shopify, cater to fundamentally different needs. Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B is designed for merchants who already have a Shopify store and want to manage access to specific content, implement wholesale pricing strategies, or create exclusive access tiers for customers. Its strength lies in its flexibility to restrict access based on various criteria, such as customer order history, spending, or subscription status. It focuses on controlling *access* to existing products and content within a merchant's *own* store. Faire: Buy Wholesale, on the other hand, is a marketplace where retailers can discover and purchase products *from other brands* to stock their store. It provides access to a wide selection of independent brands, offers favorable payment terms, and automates inventory syncing with Shopify. Faire’s value proposition is discovering new products and brands and streamlining the sourcing process. It targets merchants looking to *source* new products, not those managing wholesale aspects of their own brand. In essence, Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B helps *manage* your own wholesale or B2B offerings within your existing Shopify store, while Faire helps you *find* wholesale products from other brands to sell in your store.
