Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B vs GoodAPI Plant Tree Clean Oceanfor Shopify (2026)
Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B and GoodAPI Plant Tree Clean Ocean, while both appearing in the Customer Loyalty category on Shopify, serve drastically different purposes and target distinct merchant segments. Easy Wholesale Lock focuses on access control and content restriction, primarily aimed at B2B or wholesale businesses seeking to manage customer access to specific products, pages, or pricing. Its strength lies in its flexible rule-based system, allowing merchants to tailor access based on order history, customer groups, or other criteria. GoodAPI Plant Tree Clean Ocean, in contrast, is a sustainability app designed to engage customers through environmental initiatives. Its core value proposition revolves around planting trees and removing ocean-bound plastic, which are then marketed to customers through badges and storytelling. GoodAPI aims to increase customer loyalty by aligning the merchant's brand with eco-conscious values, offering features like automated donations, marketing asset integration, and multi-currency support. While both apps aim to enhance customer loyalty, they achieve this through completely different strategies: Easy Wholesale Lock through exclusive access and GoodAPI through ethical consumerism.

Common Questions
Are both apps necessary to improve loyalty?
No, both are not necessary. They provide fundamentally different approaches. One focuses on exclusivity and controlled access (Easy Wholesale Lock), while the other focuses on ethical consumerism and sustainability (GoodAPI).
Can Easy Wholesale Lock be used to offer early access to sales to loyal customers?
Yes, based on the description, Easy Wholesale Lock can be configured to grant access to specific content (like sales pages or product collections) based on customer order history, purchase amounts, or other customer data.
Does GoodAPI provide metrics on the impact of their sustainability initiatives?
While the description mentions 'verified impact,' it doesn't explicitly state that GoodAPI provides specific metrics to merchants. However, the emphasis on high-quality donations and global non-profits suggests that such data might be available through the app or the partnered organizations.
Is Easy Wholesale Lock difficult to configure?
The description mentions 'flexible' access rules, implying a potentially complex setup process. Configuring access based on multiple criteria and customer information likely requires a more involved process than a simple on/off switch.
Can GoodAPI's marketing badges be customized?
The app description mentions a 'premium library of photos and videos,' which suggests some level of customization. However, it doesn't explicitly state the extent to which merchants can tailor the badges themselves.
