Our Verdict
For merchants needing to control access to different parts of their store based on customer segments (e.g., wholesale customers, members), Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B is the better choice. The app's granular access controls based on order history and spending offer great flexibility. Businesses aiming to build a recurring revenue stream through subscriptions should opt for Recurpay: Subscriptions app. Its emphasis on customer self-service, flexible subscription options, and dedicated support make it ideal for managing subscription-based products or services.
While both offer customer loyalty features, Recurpay’s focus on subscriptions gives it a loyalty advantage for subscription box companies, software as a service and continuity program businesses as those recurring sales are highly valued. Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B could play a loyalty role in a different way - providing exclusive discounts for certain tiers of customers based on their prior interactions and lifetime spend, but that would be the secondary use for it.
