Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B vs Referral Candy & Affiliatefor Shopify (2026)
Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B and Referral Candy & Affiliate, while both contributing to customer loyalty, serve distinctly different purposes. Easy Wholesale Lock focuses on access control and content restriction within a Shopify store. It is designed to manage B2B relationships, hide prices from general visitors, and grant specific access privileges based on customer characteristics like order history or subscription status. In contrast, Referral Candy & Affiliate is a comprehensive referral and affiliate marketing platform, enabling merchants to leverage their existing customers and affiliates to drive new sales through rewards and incentives. Its strength lies in acquisition, reporting, and automated payouts related to referral and affiliate programs, focusing on expanding the customer base rather than controlling access to the existing one.

Our Verdict
The choice between Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B and Referral Candy & Affiliate depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If a merchant primarily needs to manage B2B relationships, control access to specific content, and hide prices from general visitors, Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B is the more appropriate choice. Conversely, if a merchant is focused on expanding their customer base and driving sales through referral and affiliate marketing programs, Referral Candy & Affiliate is the clear winner, offering a robust platform for managing and automating these processes.
Common Questions
Can Easy Wholesale Lock be used to create a referral program?
While Easy Wholesale Lock can grant access based on customer behavior (e.g., order count), it is not designed to create and manage a full-fledged referral program. It lacks the reporting, reward automation, and affiliate management features of Referral Candy.
Does Referral Candy offer content restriction features like Easy Wholesale Lock?
No, Referral Candy & Affiliate focuses exclusively on referral and affiliate marketing. It does not offer features to restrict access to specific pages, products, or content based on customer status.
Which app is easier to set up?
Without user reviews addressing setup difficulty in detail, it's hard to definitively say. However, Referral Candy's deep integrations with popular Shopify apps may simplify setup for merchants already using those platforms.
Which app is more cost-effective?
The pricing for both apps is not provided in the context. Determining cost-effectiveness requires comparing pricing plans and assessing which app offers the best value based on the specific features needed by the merchant.
Do both apps integrate with customer relationship management (CRM) systems?
Referral Candy explicitly mentions integration with Klaviyo, a popular email marketing platform. Easy Wholesale Lock doesn't explicitly state CRM integrations, so integration is uncertain without further investigation.
