Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to manage B2B operations, control access to specific content, or offer exclusive pricing tiers, Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B is the clear choice. Its features directly address these needs, providing granular control over customer access and pricing. The higher rating and larger number of reviews also suggest a more reliable and well-received product.
However, if a merchant's primary goal is to attract environmentally conscious customers and improve their brand's sustainability image, Shopify Planet is the better option. While its rating is lower, the focus on carbon-neutral shipping and marketing assets around sustainability can resonate strongly with a specific customer segment. For merchants already focused on B2B or access management, and only secondarily concerned with sustainability, Easy Wholesale Lock provides a broader toolkit that *could* be expanded with other apps. For a merchant whose core brand identity is sustainability, Shopify Planet might be more effective.
