Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B vs Shoppy ‑ Mobile App Builderfor Shopify (2026)
Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B and Shoppy ‑ Mobile App Builder, while sharing the 'Customer Loyalty' category on Shopify, cater to vastly different merchant needs. Easy Wholesale Lock focuses on access management and restriction within a Shopify store, specifically targeting B2B or wholesale operations. It allows merchants to control who sees specific content like prices, products, or entire sections of the store, based on factors like order history or subscription status. Shoppy, on the other hand, aims to create a mobile app for the merchant's store, enhancing customer experience and engagement through push notifications and a streamlined shopping process. The core difference lies in their purpose: Easy Wholesale Lock optimizes store access and potentially improves B2B sales through exclusivity, whereas Shoppy builds a dedicated mobile presence for customer retention and increased sales through mobile-first engagement. While both apps can contribute to customer loyalty, they approach it from different angles - one by controlling access and the other by enhancing mobile accessibility. The significant difference in review volume also suggests a more established user base for Easy Wholesale Lock.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking to control access to specific content on their website, particularly for B2B or wholesale operations, Easy Wholesale Lock is the clear choice. Its features focus on granular control over who sees what, based on various criteria. Shoppy is better suited for merchants who prioritize a mobile-first customer experience and want to increase engagement through a dedicated mobile app.
Given the substantial difference in the number of reviews, Easy Wholesale Lock has a more proven track record and a larger user base, which can provide more reliable insights from other merchants. However, the higher rating of Shoppy suggests that users who have implemented it are highly satisfied with its performance, likely due to its focus on a more straightforward task of building a mobile app, which aligns with current e-commerce trends.
