Our Verdict
The choice between EasyBoost and Jotly depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs. EasyBoost is a strong option for stores that want to visually showcase their products, increase AOV through upselling and cross-selling, and create a sense of urgency with countdown timers. Its strength lies in improving the overall shopping experience and driving sales through visual merchandising.
Jotly is the superior choice for stores selling apparel, footwear, or accessories where sizing is a major factor. By providing accurate and customizable size charts, Jotly reduces returns, improves customer satisfaction, and builds trust. A store could theoretically use both apps, with EasyBoost for general product showcasing and Jotly for specific products that require size guides, however there may be overlap in features or integration issues.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
EasyBoost claims to offer setup in minutes with ready-made templates, suggesting a quicker initial configuration. Jotly likely requires more customization to tailor size charts to specific products and branding.
Can I use both apps on my store?
Potentially, but consider the overlap in features. EasyBoost might already offer product display features that render some aspects of Jotly redundant unless precise sizing is critical to your business.
Which app is better for a new store?
It depends on your product category. If you sell apparel, Jotly can be crucial from day one to reduce returns. If you sell products where sizing isn't critical, EasyBoost might be more valuable for increasing sales initially.
Which app is more likely to affect my store's page speed?
Jotly's description emphasizes that it is lightweight and fast, suggesting it is optimized for performance. EasyBoost, with its more complex visual elements (sliders, grids), could potentially have a greater impact on page speed if not properly optimized, although it also aims for fast loading times.
How does multilingual support differ between the two apps?
EasyBoost doesn't explicitly mention multilingual support. Jotly, on the other hand, highlights its multi-language support for size guides, making it more suitable for international customers and stores.
