Our Verdict
For merchants primarily using Slack for team communication and prioritizing immediate awareness of store events like new orders or refunds, EasyGo13 Slack Stream might seem appealing. However, the lack of any reviews raises concerns about its reliability and functionality. Notifications by Modd Apps, backed by a solid 5/5 rating and numerous positive reviews, provides a more robust and versatile solution for automating complex workflows and sending custom notifications via email and FTP.
Given the available information, Notifications by Modd Apps is the stronger choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its advanced features, positive user feedback, and wider range of notification channels outweigh the simplicity of EasyGo13 Slack Stream, especially considering the latter's lack of user validation. Unless a merchant is solely focused on Slack notifications and willing to risk trying an unproven app, Notifications by Modd Apps offers a more reliable and comprehensive solution.
