EasyOrder COD Form&Order form vs Payment Rules Hide PaymentHerofor Shopify (2026)
EasyOrder COD Form&Order form and Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero both address checkout optimization on Shopify, but cater to very different needs. EasyOrder focuses on streamlining the order placement process, particularly for Cash on Delivery (COD) and pre-order scenarios, by replacing the standard checkout with a customizable one-page form. EasyOrder is geared toward merchants heavily reliant on COD, pre-orders, or who need to collect specific customer information upfront, while Payment Rules suits businesses aiming to enhance the payment experience by tailoring payment options to different customer segments and business needs.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily dealing with Cash on Delivery (COD) or running pre-order campaigns, and who need to gather specific information from customers upfront, EasyOrder COD Form&Order form appears to be the superior choice. Its strength lies in creating a streamlined, customizable order form that replaces the standard checkout. The drag-and-drop builder and abandoned cart tracking are valuable assets. However, given the smaller number of reviews, merchants might want to consider a thorough trial period.
On the other hand, if a merchant offers a variety of payment options and aims to optimize the customer's payment selection process to boost conversion rates, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is the better fit. The ability to hide, sort, and rename payment methods based on custom rules provides a powerful way to tailor the payment experience. With a significantly higher number of positive reviews, it suggests broader satisfaction and potentially greater reliability.
