EasyPay ‑ Payment Rules vs Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawerfor Shopify (2026)
EasyPay ‑ Payment Rules and Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer both operate within the Shopify 'Checkout' category, but cater to vastly different merchant needs. EasyPay focuses on customizing the payment experience by allowing merchants to reorder, rename, or hide payment methods based on various criteria like cart contents, shipping address, or order total. Its aim is to improve customer experience and potentially prioritize preferred payment options. In contrast, Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer concentrates on boosting AOV and conversions through upsells, cross-sells, free gifts, and other incentive mechanisms displayed in the cart drawer. The primary divergence lies in their value proposition. EasyPay is designed for merchants who want granular control over payment method presentation, perhaps to manage payment gateway fees or offer localized payment options. Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer, on the other hand, is targeted towards merchants actively seeking to increase sales and revenue by leveraging upselling and cross-selling strategies within the cart experience. While both apps impact the checkout process, their functionalities and ultimate goals are distinct.
