Our Verdict
For merchants primarily relying on Cash on Delivery, especially dropshippers, EasySell COD Form & Upsells is the clear choice. Its dedicated COD order form, OTP verification, and Google Sheets integration are invaluable for streamlining operations and minimizing fraud. The high rating (4.9/5) suggests strong user satisfaction within this niche.
However, for merchants with a broader focus beyond COD, seeking a more comprehensive set of conversion optimization tools, Hextom: Upsell Sales Boost is the better option. Its extensive feature set, including BOGO offers, bundles, timers, and badges, provides a wider range of strategies to improve AOV and overall sales. The higher number of reviews (1521) indicates wider adoption and potentially more extensive community support, which can be beneficial for troubleshooting and best practices.
Common Questions
Which app is better for preventing fake orders?
EasySell is explicitly designed to minimize fake orders through phone number verification via SMS/WhatsApp, IP blocking, and postal code limitations. Hextom does not explicitly mention features designed for this purpose.
Which app offers more comprehensive upsell options?
Hextom offers a wider variety of upsell options, including BOGO, bundles, volume discounts, and personalized product recommendations, while EasySell focuses on upsells, downsells, and quantity offers in conjunction with the COD form.
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim to be easy to use. EasySell focuses on creating a customizable COD order form. Hextom specifies setting up promos in-app in just a few clicks. Usability will ultimately depend on the merchant's specific needs and technical expertise.
Does either app integrate with Google Sheets?
EasySell explicitly mentions automatic export of Cash on Delivery orders to Google Sheets. Hextom does not mention Google Sheets integration in its description.
Which app is better for merchants selling internationally?
Hextom's broader feature set and lack of specific COD focus may make it a slightly better choice for international merchants, as COD is not as prevalent in all markets. However, EasySell could be suitable if COD is a popular payment option in their target countries, and they need the fraud prevention features.
