EasySell COD Form & Upsells vs Klarnafor Shopify (2026)
EasySell COD Form & Upsells and Klarna target vastly different merchant needs. EasySell focuses on optimizing cash-on-delivery (COD) sales, particularly beneficial for dropshipping businesses in regions where COD is prevalent. Its strength lies in its robust features for managing COD orders, including form customization, order exports, fraud prevention (OTP verification, IP blocking), and upsell/downsell capabilities to increase AOV. It also offers valuable marketing integrations through pixel tracking. In contrast, Klarna provides a broader suite of 'buy now, pay later' payment options designed to increase conversions by offering customers flexible payment terms. Klarna emphasizes ease of integration and access to a large global customer base. The core difference lies in their approach to payment. EasySell is centered around optimizing the COD process itself, addressing common pain points like fake orders and order management inefficiencies. Klarna, however, offers alternative payment methods at checkout, allowing customers to pay in installments or at a later date. While both apps aim to boost sales, EasySell does so through optimizing COD logistics and AOV boosting, while Klarna aims to improve sales by reducing the barrier of entry via flexible payment plans. The vastly different user ratings (4.9 vs. 1) and review counts (312 vs. 2) suggest a substantial difference in user satisfaction and overall app performance.

Our Verdict
For merchants heavily reliant on cash-on-delivery, particularly dropshippers in regions where COD is the dominant payment method, EasySell COD Form & Upsells is the clear choice. Its features directly address the unique challenges of COD, such as fake orders and inefficient logistics, while simultaneously offering tools to increase average order value. The high rating and numerous reviews support its effectiveness in this specific niche.
Klarna, on the other hand, is suitable for merchants who want to attract customers with flexible payment options and are willing to cede some control over payment processing to a third-party provider. However, given the extremely low rating and minimal reviews in the provided data, proceeding with Klarna requires careful consideration and independent verification of its performance and reliability before full-scale implementation. Merchants must also examine what has happened to Klarna's rating since the last recorded ratings.
Common Questions
