Our Verdict
The choice between Easyteam for Point of Sale and F: Sell by Weight for POS hinges entirely on the specific needs of the retailer. If a merchant struggles with employee scheduling, time tracking, commission calculations, or payroll, Easyteam is the clear choice. Its mature rating and substantial user base suggest a reliable and effective solution. If, however, a retailer needs to sell products by weight (decimals or fractions) within their Shopify POS, such as grocery stores, butchers, or bulk retailers, then F: Sell by Weight for POS is a necessity. While the lack of reviews presents a risk, the app directly addresses a specific pain point not covered by Easyteam.
Given the current data, Easyteam is generally the safer option for most retailers needing general employee management tools due to its strong positive rating and review history. However, for merchants specifically selling items by weight, the unrated F: Sell by Weight for POS, despite the lack of validation, is the only viable option. Merchants should test it thoroughly before full deployment.
