Easyteam for Point of Sale vs Fractional Quantities For POSfor Shopify (2026)
Easyteam for Point of Sale and Fractional Quantities For POS address vastly different needs within the Shopify Point of Sale ecosystem. Easyteam focuses on comprehensive staff management, encompassing time tracking, scheduling, commissions, and payroll. It aims to be a centralized hub for employee-related tasks, enhancing efficiency and providing a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. Its strength lies in its integration with Shopify POS and features geared towards managing a retail workforce effectively. Fractional Quantities For POS, on the other hand, tackles the specific challenge of selling products in fractional quantities directly within the POS system. It allows merchants to sell items by weight, yardage, or any other unit, providing accurate inventory management for these specialized sales scenarios. The stark difference in ratings and review volume underscores their distinct target audiences and perceived value. Easyteam, with a perfect 5/5 rating and 243 reviews, signals a highly satisfied user base focused on employee management. Fractional Quantities For POS, with a lower rating (2.7/5) and a significantly smaller number of reviews (3), suggests a niche product with potentially unmet user expectations, which is very common for a very specific use case. The intended audience of Easyteam is larger, essentially any brick-and-mortar store, while Fractional Quantities is for a niche audience.

Our Verdict
For the vast majority of Shopify POS retailers needing robust staff management capabilities, Easyteam for Point of Sale is the clear winner. Its high rating and substantial review count strongly suggest a reliable and valuable tool for streamlining employee-related processes. Fractional Quantities For POS addresses a very specific niche. If your business model hinges on selling products in fractional quantities (e.g., fabric, hardware, food by weight), and you're willing to potentially troubleshoot initial setup based on the low rating, then it might be worth exploring. However, given the limited and relatively negative feedback, thorough testing and a close eye on its performance will be crucial.
Ultimately, these are not comparable apps. EasyTeam is a must for nearly all businesses with employees. Fractional Quantities is for a small minority.
