Easyteam for Point of Sale vs Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Preventfor Shopify (2026)
Easyteam for Point of Sale and Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent are both Shopify apps with a 5/5 rating, but they serve drastically different purposes. Easyteam is a comprehensive staff management solution tailored for brick-and-mortar retailers using Shopify POS. It offers features like time tracking, scheduling, commission management, and payroll processing. The app aims to streamline employee management, reduce administrative overhead, and improve staff performance. Given its focus on in-person staff, it offers POS integration features like clocking in/out directly from the terminal. Fraud Falcon, on the other hand, focuses on protecting online businesses from fraudulent orders and chargebacks. It allows merchants to create custom rules based on risk factors like disposable emails, address mismatches, and IP addresses to automatically block or flag suspicious transactions. The app targets merchants concerned about revenue loss due to fraud and seeks to prevent chargebacks by identifying and preventing fraudulent orders before they ship. The setup wizard provides an added layer of ease of use. While both apps fall under 'staff notifications', their primary functionalities and target users are vastly different.
