Easyteam for Point of Sale vs ManilaTagfor Shopify (2026)
Easyteam for Point of Sale and ManilaTag address distinct needs within the 'Selling in person' Shopify category. Easyteam focuses on comprehensive staff management for brick-and-mortar retail environments, covering everything from time tracking and scheduling to commissions and payroll. It aims to streamline employee-related tasks and improve operational efficiency for retailers with a physical presence and multiple staff members. The app emphasizes ease of use and integration with the Shopify POS system. ManilaTag, on the other hand, is designed for inventory location tracking using a mobile barcode scanner. It simplifies the process of assigning products to bins and geolocations, enabling merchants to easily manage inventory placement within their warehouses or stores. Unlike Easyteam, ManilaTag appears to target merchants with inventory management concerns rather than employee management. The reliance on a mobile phone camera for scanning implies a focus on cost-effectiveness and accessibility, potentially appealing to smaller businesses or those prioritizing mobility in inventory tracking.
