Easyteam for Point of Sale vs Measura: Sell by Weight & Morefor Shopify (2026)
Easyteam for Point of Sale and Measura: Sell by Weight & More are both 5-star rated Shopify apps in the "Selling in person" and "Retail" categories. However, they cater to vastly different needs. Easyteam focuses on comprehensive staff management, offering features like time tracking, scheduling, commissions, and payroll specifically designed for Shopify POS retailers. Its strength lies in simplifying employee-related tasks, improving efficiency, and offering tight integration with the Shopify POS system. It aims to be the 'homebase' of employee management, emphasizing ease of onboarding and live support. Measura, on the other hand, addresses a niche but crucial requirement: selling products by measurement (weight, length, volume, or area) both online and in-person. It's designed for businesses that require fractional inventory management and precise measurement-based sales. Measura automatically adjusts inventory with each order and is best suited for stores like grocery stores, butcheries, or fabric shops, whose business models depend on selling by units of measure, not by fixed quantities.

Our Verdict
The choice between Easyteam and Measura depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If you are a Shopify POS retailer with employees, Easyteam is the clear choice. It streamlines staff management and payroll, improving overall efficiency. If your business relies on selling products by weight, length, volume, or area, and requires fractional inventory management, Measura is the essential app.
While both apps have a 5-star rating, Easyteam has significantly more reviews, suggesting a larger user base and broader applicability within its target market. For a general retail store, Easyteam will provide considerably more value. However, for very specific business models like a butcher shop, Measura is indispensable.
Common Questions

Easyteam focuses on staff management. While it mentions 'sales performance', direct inventory management isn't a primary feature. Measura, on the other hand, does fractional inventory management for units of measure.
Can Measura be used for setting employee commissions?
No, Measura focuses on selling by measurement and inventory. Easyteam is the app for commission management.
Is Easyteam suitable for online stores without a physical POS?
Easyteam is designed specifically for Shopify Point of Sale (POS) retailers. Its primary features focus on in-person staff management.
Can Measura handle different units of measurement (e.g., kg and grams)?
While the app description mentions selling by weight, length, area, or volume, the level of granularity (like different units within 'weight') is not explicitly detailed. Further investigation is recommended.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Easyteam emphasizes ease of onboarding, suggesting it's designed to be user-friendly. Measura's setup complexity likely depends on the specific inventory configuration required for selling by measurement, it is targeting merchants already used to doing this manually.
