Easyteam for Point of Sale vs Uniquify: Handcrafted Listingsfor Shopify (2026)
Easyteam for Point of Sale and Uniquify: Handcrafted Listings cater to vastly different needs within the "Selling in person" Shopify category. Easyteam focuses on optimizing staff management for brick-and-mortar retailers using Shopify POS. Its strength lies in providing a comprehensive suite of tools for scheduling, time tracking, commissions, and payroll. The app aims to streamline employee-related tasks, ultimately improving operational efficiency and compliance. Uniquify, on the other hand, addresses the unique challenge of listing handcrafted, one-of-a-kind items. It streamlines the listing process by allowing merchants to use existing product listings as templates, simplifying SKU generation, and automatically optimizing photos. Uniquify's primary value proposition is saving time and effort for merchants who sell unique, handcrafted items and need to quickly create new product listings. While both apps are highly rated, the discrepancy in review count suggests significantly different levels of market penetration and maturity.

Our Verdict
The choice between Easyteam for Point of Sale and Uniquify: Handcrafted Listings depends entirely on the merchant's business model. Easyteam is the clear choice for retail businesses operating a physical store with employees using Shopify POS. Its comprehensive staff management features would significantly simplify HR and operational tasks.
Uniquify is tailored for artisans and creators selling handcrafted or one-off items. If a merchant struggles with the time-consuming process of listing each unique product, Uniquify offers a streamlined solution. Given the low review count, new users should be cautious and thoroughly test the app's functionalities to ensure it meets their specific needs.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim ease of use, but Easyteam highlights 'minimal training,' suggesting a potentially more complex initial setup due to the breadth of its features. Uniquify's promise of listing items in 'less than a minute' implies a very quick setup, but testing is needed for validation.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but their functions are largely independent. If a handcrafted item retailer also has staff and uses Shopify POS, they *could* benefit from both. However, there's no stated integration between the two, so any benefits would be additive, not synergistic.
Which app has better customer support?
Easyteam mentions "top-notch onboarding and live support," suggesting a focus on customer assistance. Uniquify does not explicitly mention support, making Easyteam's support more likely to be superior based solely on available information.
Is Easyteam suitable for online-only stores?
While not explicitly stated, Easyteam's focus on Shopify POS strongly suggests it is primarily designed for brick-and-mortar retailers. Its features are less relevant for online-only businesses.
Does Uniquify integrate with accounting software?
The provided information does not mention any integrations with accounting software or other third-party services. Its focus is solely on streamlining the product listing process for unique items.
