Our Verdict
Easyteam for Point of Sale is the superior choice for businesses seeking to optimize their employee management processes. Its robust feature set and high user rating indicate a reliable and well-regarded solution. Businesses with a larger workforce or complex scheduling needs will find significant value in Easyteam's comprehensive tools. However, if a retailer's sole need is to efficiently sell products by weight via Shopify POS, and has a low product volume, Weyify POS by Weight offers a targeted solution. Given the low review count and low rating for Weyify, it may need to be tested and vetted thoroughly before committing to it.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Both apps aim for ease of use within their respective domains. Easyteam provides top-notch onboarding and live support to guide users through setup. Weyify is designed for a simple checkout process for weighable items, but the actual amount of initial set up required is unknown, as is whether support is easy to find.
Does either app integrate with other Shopify apps?
Easyteam specifically mentions integration with Stocky for sales performance metrics. Weyify's description does not mention any specific integrations, but it does use Shopify's product admin to categorize weighable products.
Which app is more scalable for a growing retail business?
Easyteam is likely more scalable due to its focus on managing a growing workforce and handling increasingly complex scheduling and payroll needs. Weyify's scalability depends on the volume of weighable products sold, but its functionality remains relatively static.
What kind of support is available for each app?
Easyteam emphasizes top-notch onboarding and live support. Information on Weyify support is not available in the app description.
If a business sells both by weight and needs employee management, should they get both apps?
Potentially. If the weighable sales are a significant portion of the business, then Weyify might be worth it. Otherwise, businesses might try to find an alternative, single app that is well supported or a workaround. Easyteam can handle the employee management regardless of the other sales types.
