EasyTranslate vs MarketWise: Merchandiserfor Shopify (2026)
EasyTranslate and MarketWise: Merchandiser both target international sales on Shopify, but offer very different solutions. EasyTranslate focuses on translating your existing content, enabling you to reach a wider audience by speaking their language. It boasts automated workflows, freelance translators, and even custom machine translation to quickly get your content ready for global markets. Their no-code plugin aims to simplify the translation process, keeping merchants within the Shopify ecosystem. MarketWise: Merchandiser, on the other hand, centres around optimizing your store for different Shopify Markets. It allows for market-specific merchandising, such as tailored collections, back-in-stock alerts tied to local fulfillment, and dynamic product labels, maximizing conversion rates within each market. The core difference lies in language vs. merchandising strategy. EasyTranslate prioritizes creating multilingual content through human and machine translation, suitable for merchants who need comprehensive translation of their entire storefront. MarketWise: Merchandiser caters to businesses already utilizing Shopify Markets and needing tools to specifically customize the customer experience and product presentation within those markets. One focuses on breaking down language barriers, while the other focuses on refining the shopping experience within each market. Due to the limited number of reviews for both apps, the ratings should be taken with a grain of salt and deeper research into the app performance is recommended.
